The A68 near Jedburgh has been closed in both directions after a lorry overturned.
Police announced the road was closed at Bonjedward at around 8.19am on Wednesday.
It was confirmed that the road will remain closed “for some time”.
Drivers have been asked to avoid the area and use alternative routes.
