Part of the A720 has been restricted due to a vehicle fire near a roundabout in Edinburgh.

Emergency services were called to the scene near the Sheriffhall roundabout on Tuesday morning.

Traffic Scotland confirmed the eastbound carriageway was restricted at around 7.42am.

Drivers have been urged to approach with caution.

Police Scotland has been contacted for comment.
