No suspicious circumstances have been found following an explosion at a property in Alloa, which left a man dead and three others injured.

Graham Green was pronounced dead at the scene of the blast on Kellie Place on October 6.

Following a post-mortem, the 50-year-old’s death is not being treated as suspicious, police confirmed on Wednesday.

Three other people, a 72-year-old man, a 19-year-old man and a 49-year-old woman, were taken to Forth Valley Royal Infirmary for treatment to minor injuries following the incident.

SGN later confirmed that the explosion was not caused by the mains.

Mr Green’s family took to social media to thank everyone “for their overwhelming support” following his death.

Betty Green wrote: “On behalf of me and my family it is with great sadness we announce the passing of Graham Green (Greenie).

“We want to thank all of the emergency services involved during this tragic event.

“The family and I would also like to thank everyone for their overwhelming support and condolences at this difficult time.

“Slàinte Mhath Graham.”

Police Scotland said a report has been sent to the Procurator Fiscal.
