Armed police have been called to a street in Dunfermline following reports of a disturbance on Wednesday.
More than ten police vehicles were pictured on Haig Crescent after emergency services were called to an incident at around 2.25 p.m. on October 9.
Images show officers clad in black holding firearms patrolling the area which has been taped off. The nature of the disturbance is not yet known, however, police remain on the scene.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 2.25pm on Wednesday, October 9, 2024, we were called to a report of a disturbance in the Haig Crescent area of Dunfermline.
“Officers are currently in attendance and enquiries are ongoing.”
