Police ScotlandA body has been found in a car in Edinburgh in search of a missing man from East Calder.
Officers said around 7.15am on Thursday the body of a man was found within a car on Lasswade Bank in the city, believed to be William Johnstone.
Formal identification is yet to take place but the 47-year-old’s family have been made aware.
The death is not being treated as suspicious, say police.
