A body has been recovered from the water amid a search for a missing man who was last seen more than a month ago.
Police Scotland confirmed a body was recovered from the water at Musselburgh Lagoons shortly before 11am on Sunday, February 11.
It follows a search for missing man Daniel Fraser, who was last seen at around 1.37am on Sunday, January 7 outside the Old Golf Course reception building, Stables Pavilion, near the racecourse in Musselburgh.
No formal identification has taken place but police say the 35-year-old’s family have been informed.
There do not appear to be any suspicious circumstances surrounding the incident.
A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.
