Woman who disappeared two weeks ago 'may have travelled to England'

The 28-year-old may have travelled by bus or train from the area after being reported missing to officers on Monday.

A woman reported missing from the Scottish Borders a fortnight ago may have travelled to England, police have said.

Cassie Aghakhan was last seen around midday on Thursday, June 20 and speaks with an accent local to Hawick but is known to have links to the Lancashire area.

The 28-year-old may have travelled by bus or train to England after being reported missing to officers on Monday, July 1.

She is described as just over 5ft tall, thin built, fair skinned, and has long dark hair which she normally wears down and she also normally wears black leggings.

Anyone with information is asked to contact police on 101 and quote Incident number 2485 of July 1.
