The incident occurred at a section of the road that was closed for resurfacing work.

A wider closure between the Morrisons roundabout and Shillinghill roundabout was put in place while crash investigation work was carried out.

Anyone who can help is asked to contact Police Scotland on 101, quoting incident number 1746 of Sunday, May 17, 2026.
