A car has been firebombed outside a home linked to a gangland figure, days after a rival crime boss was arrested in Bali.
A car was torched outside a property in Niddrie Marischal Crescent connected with jailed cocaine kingpin Mark Richardson at around 11.25pm on Tuesday.
The incident comes days after Steven Lyons was arrested at an airport in Bali. The 45-year-old was flagged as the subject of an Interpol Red Notice and taken into custody during immigration checks.

Niddrie Marischal Crescent has been a common target during an ongoing gang war spanning the central belt, which ignited in March 2025.
A man was jailed for nine years in January after being filmed firing live rounds into a home on the street.

A van was also set alight outside a property on the street months earlier.
Police say they are keeping an “open mind” on whether the latest incident is linked to the underworld war.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Police received a report of a vehicle fire in the Niddrie Marischal Crescent area of Edinburgh around 11.25pm on Tuesday, March 31, 2026.
“The fire is being treated as wilful, and enquiries are ongoing.”
Police Scotland’s Operation Portaledge was launched to crack down on serious organised crime after a gang feud spanning the central belt ignited in March 2025.
The special task force has arrested a total of 63 people in connection with the organised crime war.
