A car crashed into the side of a house in Fife.

The vehicle ploughed into the side of a house on Clarimalt Drive, Kirkcaldy, at around 8.30am on Monday.

The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service sent three fire engines to the scene, while police officers also attended.

No casualties have been reported, and firefighters departed after ensuring the area was safe.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Officers received a report of a car having struck a property on Clarimalt Drive in Kirkcaldy around 8.30am.

“No-one was injured as a result of the crash and enquiries into the incident are ongoing.”

A spokesperson for the fire service said: “We were alerted at 8.33am on Monday, April 25 to reports of a collision involving one vehicle and a property at Clarimalt Drive, Kirkcaldy.

“Operations Control mobilised three appliances and specialist resources and firefighters assisted emergency service partners at the scene.

“There were no reported casualties and crews left after ensuring the area was made safe.”
