Drivers have been forced to abandon their cars and streets were left flooded after a river burst its banks in Fife.
Pictures shared on social media on Sunday show vehicles partly submerged in water near Dairsie bridge in Cupar and the banks of River Eden completely flooded.
A Met Office yellow warning of snow and ice is in force across northern and eastern Scotland, including Fife, until midnight on Sunday.
The Scottish Environment Protection Agency (Sepa) issued four flood alerts on Saturday, including one for Fife, and one warning.
The Fife warning stated: “Following recent heavy rain, there could be some ongoing flooding impacts on Saturday from surface water and some rivers in this area.
“Impacts may include flooding of low-lying land and roads.”
On Saturday, paddleboarders were spotted taking to the water in Haugh Park after flooding turned it into a lake.
Much of the area had been flooded after the nearby River Eden burst its banks following heavy downpours.
Onlooker James Matheson tweeted footage of a paddleboarder gliding across the water.
Local resident Kim Bennett said some houses in the area have been flooded and there are fears other properties might be affected if the rain continues.
Fife Council said that it is monitoring high risk areas.
