Multiple clubs, cash and clothes have been stolen after a break-in at a golf club in West Lothian.

Officers were alerted to the break-in at the pro shop at Uphall Golf Club which happened between 11pm on Tuesday and 7am on Wednesday.

Police confirmed that a quantity of golf clubs, clothing and a sum of cash was stolen from within.

The force said enquiries are “ongoing” and is urging anyone with information to come forward.

Detective constable Natalie Civil said: “We would urge anyone who saw any suspicious people or vehicles around the golf club overnight to get in touch.

“We would also be keen to speak to anyone who may have dashcam footage from the area overnight.

“Anyone who can help is asked to call 101, quoting reference 0521 of October 16, or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
