CCTV images have been released as police continue their probe into an Edinburgh street assault which left a man with facial injuries.
The attack occurred on South St Andrew Street at around 8pm on August 6, 2021, and left the 36-year-old man injured.
Officers have now released images of a man they believe could assist with their investigation into the attack.
The man pictured has been described as white, between 25 and 30 years old and has facial hair.
Detective constable Moran, of Gayfield CID, said: “The victim was subjected to an attack which left him with a facial injury. I would urge anyone with information relating to the man in the CCTV images to contact police as soon as possible.
“Members of the public can contact Police Scotland via 101, quoting reference number 3319 of August 6, 2021, or if they wish to remain anonymous, they can call the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
