Gordon Fergus via SuppliedA Coastguard helicopter is at the scene of an ongoing incident at Arthur’s Seat in Edinburgh.
The search and rescue crew was scrambled at around 3pm on Friday and can be seen hovering over the popular beauty spot.
The nature of the incident is currently unclear.
A spokesperson for the Coastguard said: “HM Coastguard is currently responding to an incident at Arthur’s seat in Edinburgh. An HM Coastguard Search and Rescue Helicopter has been sent.
“The incident is ongoing.”
Police Scotland has been contacted.
