Commuters have been warned to expect delays, alterations or cancellations to train services between Stirling and Perth due to broken down train.
ScotRail confirmed that there was a broken down train beween Dunblane and Gleneagles on Tuesday around 7am.
The rail provider said that services running between Stirling and Perth are subject to “delays, alterations or cancellations”.
They added that customers can travel via Perth and Edinburgh but warned it will add a “significant” amount of time to journeys.
ScotRail said that they have ticket acceptance in place with City Link buses between Perth and Stirling.
At 8am, the rail provider confirmed that the broken down train is moving again and services will begin to return to normal but there may still be some changes to services.
