Fife Jammer LocationsFife Council has launched an investigation into a collision involving one of its bin lorries and a Stagecoach bus.
The incident occurred on Foxton Drive in Thornton on Monday afternoon.
The local authority has confirmed that the head of protective services is currently investigating the “minor incident”.
Stagecoach is also probing the circumstances.
A spokesperson for Stagecoach East Scotland said: “We can confirm that one of our vehicles was involved in an incident on Foxton Drive on Monday afternoon.
“Safety is our absolute priority and we will carry out a full investigation into the circumstances.”
Police Scotland has been contacted for comment.
