A body has been pulled from a river in Falkirk in the search for a woman last seen on Friday night.
At around 3.45pm, emergency services recovered a woman’s corpse from the River Carron by Beaumont Drive, Carron, in Falkirk.
Police said formal identification had yet to take place but the family of Leanne Beattie had been informed.
The 36-year-old was last seen in the River Street area of Falkirk, around 10pm on Friday.
Police said enquiries are ongoing to establish the exact cause of death but it is not being treated as suspicious.
A spokesperson for the force said: “A full report will be sent to the Procurator Fiscal.”
