The death of a man found near a West Lothian football ground on Friday is being treated as unexplained.
Emergency services were called to Harburn Road near West Calder United Football Club after being alerted to the incident at around 8.55am.
Detectives are treating the death as unexplained, but it is not believed to be suspicious.
A report is due to be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 8.55am on Friday, August 7, 2026, we received a report of the death of a man on Harburn Road, West Calder.
“The death is being treated as unexplained but is not believed to be suspicious. A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal in due course.”
