The death of a teenage boy in Fife is being treated as unexplained.
Emergency services were called to Whitelaw Road in Dunfermline following reports of the death of a 17-year-old at around 12.25pm on Sunday.
The incident is being treated as unexplained by detectives.
An investigation is ongoing.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 12.25pm on Sunday, April 27, 2025, emergency services attended at Whitelaw Road, Dunfermline following the death of a 17-year-old boy.
“His death is being treated as unexplained.
“Enquiries are ongoing.”
