A fire which took hold of a derelict church near Falkirk on Saturday is being treated as deliberate by police.
Emergency services were called to Main Street in Camelon at around 3.15pm after they were alerted to the incident at the former St John’s Church.
The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service sent four engines and a height appliance to the scene to extinguish the flames.
The road was closed by officers after the blaze took hold. Police Scotland has confirmed that the incident as wilful.
The area was made at around 12.32am, and no injuries were reported following the incident.
JohnNo arrests have been made.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 3.30pm on Saturday, February 14, 2026, we received a report of a fire at a derelict building on Main Street, Camelon.
“The fire is being treated as wilful and anyone with information should contact 101 quoting reference number 1856 of February 14, 2026.”
