A dog has been put down and police are searching for another after a spaniel was killed in a park in Dunblane.
On Monday, March 11, two dogs attacked a spaniel at around 1.30pm in the Braemar Park area of the town.
The spaniel died following the attack, and one of the dogs involved has been euthanised, police confirmed.
The breed of the two dogs has not been confirmed following the attack, however police said enquiries into the incident are “ongoing”.
The public are being asked for their help to trace the second dog involved.
