A dog has been rescued after it became stranded on rocks below cliffs in the Scottish Borders.
The Eyemouth Coastguard Rescue Team were called to the scene between Eyemouth and Coldingham at around 6.30pm on Sunday after they were alerted to the stranded pet.
Rescuers made their way to the area to meet the dog’s family, who had carefully made their way down.
Eyemouth CoastguardThe group were escorted up the cliff to safety and the team was stood down.
The dog suffered a few cuts and scrapes; however, the coastguard team say it was “in good spirits”.
