A woman was airlifted to hospital following a crash that closed the A9 for a number of hours on Easter Sunday.
The one-vehicle collision occurred around 9.45am on Sunday on the northbound carriage near to the A822 at Greenloaning.
Emergency services attended the scene and the 20-year-old driver was airlifted to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital in Glasgow.
The road was closed for a number of hours, causing traffic delays and reopened around 4pm.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 9.45am on Sunday, April 17, police were called to a report of a road crash involving one car on the A9 near to the A822 at Greenloaning.
“Officers attended and the 20-year-old driver of the car was taken by air ambulance to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital in Glasgow.
“Enquiries are ongoing into the crash.”
