A motorist has been charged after a man was hit by a van in Edinburgh.
The collision happened just before 4pm on Monday near the Water of Leith Visitor Centre.
Emergency services arrived and a 41-year-old man was taken to hospital for treatment.
Police Scotland said it had arrested the driver of the van, a 55-year-old man. in connection with the incident.
The force said enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances of the collision and that a report will be sent to the procurator fiscal.
