Emergency services were called to an Edinburgh retail park after a car crashed into a shop window.
The vehicle drove over the pavement and into a shop at the Craigleith Retail Park around 6pm on Tuesday.
The driver was able to remove themselves from the car before emergency services arrived on the scene and was uninjured.
Scottish Fire and Rescue services sent to fire engines to the scene and the casualty was attended to by ambulance crews.
Police said that there were no reports of injuries and recovery was arranged to remove the car from the window.
A Scottish Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: “We were alerted at 6.06pm on Tuesday, July 2, to reports of a road traffic collision involving one car at the Craigleith Retail Park, South Groathill Avenue, Edinburgh.
“Operations Control mobilised two fire appliances.
“One casualty removed themselves from the vehicle prior to our arrival and was being attended to by the Scottish Ambulance Service.
“Crews left after ensuring the area was made safe.”
A police spokesperson said: “Around 5.55pm on Tuesday, July 2, 2024 police received a report of a car having crashed into the window of a shop at Craigleith Retail Park, South Groathill Avenue, Edinburgh.
“There were no reports of any injuries and recovery was arranged for the vehicle.”
