Dunfermline man who went missing from Fife with camouflage rucksack traced by police following appeal Police Scotland

A man who had been missing from Fife since Friday afternoon has been traced, police have confirmed.

Ernest Nicolson was last seen at around 4.30pm on February 3, in the Glen Nevis Drive area of Dunfermline.

Police confirmed on Sunday that the 57-year-old was traced following an appeal.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “We can confirm that Ernest Nicholson, reported missing from Fife and last seen in Dunfermline, has been traced safe and well.

“Thank you to everyone who shared and responded to our appeal.”
