Four people are in hospital after a serious crash on a busy motorway on Friday morning.
At around 6.35am, emergency services were called to the M90 between Blairadam and Kelty to a crash involving one vehicle.
The four casualties, who left the vehicle prior to emergency services arriving, were taken to hospital for treatment.
Motorists are advised to approach with caution and should allow for longer than normal journey times.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “We received a report of a crash involving one car which happened around 6.35am on Friday, December 15, 2023 on the M90 between junction 4 and 5.
“Emergency services attended and four people were taken to hospital for treatment.”
A Scottish Ambulance Service spokesperson said: “We received a call today to attend a road traffic collision on the M90.
“We dispatched five resources to the scene, including our special operations team and transported two patients to New Edinburgh Royal Infirmary and three patients to Victoria Hospital in Kirkcaldy.”
