An Edinburgh-bound British Airways flight declared a mid-air emergency after a co-pilot reportedly fell ill.
Flight BA1458 left London Heathrow around 5pm on Monday before issuing a “squawk 7700” emergency code as it approached the Scottish capital.
Pilots issue a squawk 7700 code to signal a general emergency, notifying both Air Traffic Control on the ground and nearby aircraft.
The emergency onboard is understood to be related to the co-pilot suffering a medical issue in the cockpit.
BA has confirmed that the flight landed as normal at Edinburgh Airport and passengers disembarked as normal.
