Three people have been taken to hospital after the Edinburgh City bypass on the A720 was closed during rush hour due to a crash.
Emergency services were called to the road at around 8.15am on Friday.
The road was closed eastbound between Sheriffhall and Old Craighall but has since reopened.
A statement from police read: “The A720 Edinburgh City bypass has re-opened following a three-vehicle crash eastbound between Sheriffhall and Old Craighall that happened around 8.15am on Friday, 5 December.
“Emergency services attended and three people were taken to hospital for treatment.
“Road users are thanked for their patience.”
