Residents have returned after their homes were evacuated on Wednesday due to the discovery of a “suspicious item” in Edinburgh.
Emergency services were called to Loganlea Gardens at around 4.55pm on Wednesday.
The bomb squad were then called and a cordon was put in place.
Residents in Loganlea Gardens and surrounding Loganlea Place and Loganlea Drive were advised to keep their windows shut and remain in their homes.
Some nearby properties were also evacuated. The item was examined and it was established there was no risk to the public.
There are not believed to be any suspicious circumstances surrounding the incident, police said.
The cordon has been removed and all residents have been allowed to return home.
