Tributes have been paid to a Scots mum-of-two who died suddenly as her family said they are “heartbroken”.
Stephanie Ternent Reid from Edinburgh died on Monday, November 18, shortly after celebrating her first wedding anniversary with husband Ryan.
The 36-year-old – mum to a seven-year-old and one-year-old – also worked for Hibernian FC as part of the club’s matchday team.
A fundraiser has been set up to support her family, with more than £17,000 raised in just a few days.
Her sister-in-law Brogan Ashton, who organised the fundraiser, wrote: “Stephanie was such a warm, bubbly, caring and extremely kind human being.
“She would put anyone before her and would drop anything to help whoever she could.
“At 36, she had her whole life ahead of her and she had many future plans in place with her beautiful family.
“More recently, they were due to move into a new family home at the end of November, which has now changed for the worse due to Stephanie’s unexpected passing.
“Stephanie’s two wonderful children were the definition of her life and much more. She lived for her children and wanted nothing but the very best for them.
“Her love for them was indescribable.”
Hibs said they were “deeply saddened” by Stephanie’s death.
“Stephanie was a valued member of the Hibernian FC matchday team and was always bubbly, friendly and helpful”, they added.
“She will be sorely missed, and the thoughts of everyone at the football club are with her family and friends during this incredibly difficult time.”
