The body of a pensioner has been recovered from a canal by police.
Formal identification is still to take place, however the family of 83-year-old Jack Brown have been made aware, police said.
He was reported missing earlier in the day.
The recovery was made at around 9pm within the Union Canal near Linlithgow on Thursday, January 20.
The death is not being treated as suspicious and a report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.
