A road in Fife has reopened after a schoolboy was knocked down on Wednesday.
Emergency services were called to Main Street in Lochgelly at around 3.15pm following reports of a 10-year-old boy being struck by a car.
The boy was checked at the scene by the Scottish Ambulance Service. Officers have since reopened the road.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Main Street, Lochgelly, has reopened following a crash involving a car and a pedestrian that happened around 3.15pm on Wednesday, May 14.
“Emergency services attended and the pedestrian, a 10-year-old boy, was checked by the Scottish Ambulance Service.
“Thank you to road users for their patience.”
