Emergency services have been called to an Edinburgh street after reports of a fire at the bottom of a tenement close.
Crews from the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service attended the scene on Jeffrey Street at around 3pm on Thursday.
Two engines and one height vehicle were despatched to the scene and found the fire affecting a fuse box within a stairwell.
No injuries have been reported and emergency services remain the scene.
A spokesman for the SFRS said: “We were alerted at 3.08pm to reports of smoke issuing from a property at Jeffrey Street, Edinburgh.
“Operations Control mobilised three fire appliances and one height vehicle to a fire affecting a fuse box within a stairwell of a tenement building.
“There are no reported casualties and crews are still at the scene.”
