Fife Jammer LocationsFire crews have put out a large blaze affecting waste and debris in Fife, with police treating the fire as deliberate.
Emergency services were alerted to the incident just off Ferry Toll Road in Rosyth at a waste ground around 9.27pm on Monday.
Crews worked to extinguish the fire affecting a large amount of waste, including tyres and debris.
Three appliances were sent to the scene before crews left around 1.16am. There were no reported injuries.
Police say the fire is being treated as wilful and enquiries are ongoing.
Images showed thick plumes of black smoke billowing into the sky from the fire.
Other footage shared on social media showed the smoke being visible from the other side of the River Forth.
A Police Scotland statement read: “Ferrytoll Road in Rosyth has reopened following a fire, which was reported around 9.45pm on Monday, April 27, 2026.
“The fire was extinguished by Scottish Fire and Rescue Service. There are no reported injuries.
“The fire is believed to be wilful and enquiries are ongoing.”
