Fire crews have extinguished a blaze at the site of the Grangemouth oil refinery.
Emergency services were called to the Ineos complex on North Shore Road at 10.40am on Thursday morning.
Police said the fire was confined to the dock area and there were no reported injuries.
The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service sent three fire engines to the scene and the blaze was put out in under two hours.
Police Scotland Chief Inspector Chris Stewart said: “I attended an incident this morning at the Grangemouth docks in relation to a fire, along with resources from Falkirk police, the Scottish Ambulance Service and the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service.
“I can confirm there was no risk to the public and the incident was quickly and safely brought to a conclusion.
“I appreciate the sight of the flames may have caused concern, but I can reassure everyone that there was no risk to the public.
“The incident has now been resolved. I would like to thank the professional response from everyone who attended.”
