Crews were called to tackle a fire in the open near a primary school in Fife on Wednesday night.
Emergency services were alerted to the incident on Station Road in Cardenden at around 9.17pm.
The Scottish and Fire Rescue Service sent two engines to the scene close to Denend Primary School to extinguish the flames.
An image of the incident shows thick black smoke billowing from what appears to be a significant fire.
Firefighters left the scene at around 9.45pm after ensuring the area was safe.
There were no reported injuries.
