A four-figure cash sum has been stolen after a shop in the Scottish Borders was broken into.
Police said entry was gained to the shop on Main Street in Chirnside at around 2.30am on Tuesday when the money was taken.
Detective constable Sarah Henderson said: “Our enquiries are ongoing and I am appealing for anyone with any information which could assist us to get in touch.
“I would also appeal to anyone who was driving in the area at the time and who may have dash cam footage to contact us.”
Anyone with any information is asked to contact 101 quoting incident 0329 of September 12.
