Girl and woman reported after disturbance on bus near Fife hospital

A girl and a woman have been reported after a disturbance on a bus near a hospital in Fife.

The incident took place on the service near Kirkcaldy’s Victoria hospital during the evening of July 17.

Detectives were made aware of a video of the disturbance being shared on social media.

On Wednesday, officers charged a female youth in connection with the incident. She is due to be reported to the relevant authorities.

A woman has also been reported to the Procurator Fiscal in connection with the incident.

“Through a multi-agency approach, we continue to target the issues that matter most to the local communities, ensuring residents feel safe in their neighbourhoods and public spaces.”
