Police are hunting for a man who asked a teenage girl to perform a sex act before exposing himself in an underpass in West Lothian.
The 16-year-old girl was approached by a man in an underpass leading towards Manitoba Avenue in Livingston around 5.30pm on Sunday.
The man asked her to perform a sex act, then indecently exposed himself and carried out a sex act on himself.
He then made off towards the Livingston Centre when a dog walker approached, and extensive enquiries are ongoing to trace both the suspect and the dog walker.
The man is described as white, around 25 years old, 6ft tall, with blonde/red hair.
He had short facial hair and was wearing a black tracksuit and spoke with a Scottish accent.
Police believe the dog walker may have seen the man or have information on this incident, and is described as a male who was walking a black Labrador.
Sergeant Elana Bell said: “The victim was not hurt but was left extremely shaken by this incident, and we are doing everything we can to trace the man.
“I am appealing to anyone who witnessed the incident and hasn’t already spoken to officers to get in touch. Additionally, if you have information which could assist our enquiries, please make contact with police.”
Anyone with information should contact 101, quoting incident 2585 of November 9.
