Police are hunting three suspects after a man was assaulted in Perth.
A 21-year-old man was seriously assaulted after exiting his vehicle in the Marlee Road area, near to Rannoch Road, around 10.15pm on Wednesday.
He was later taken to Perth Royal Infirmary for treatment.
The suspects are described as white men, wearing all black clothing, who left the area in a small red hatchback car which had been parked at the junction of Marlee Road and Dalreoch Place.
Detective inspector Simon Murray said: “We are appealing for anyone with information on this attack to please come forward.
“We are particularly interested to hear from anyone in the area with potential CCTV or dashcam footage, which may have captured the incident or the individuals and vehicles involved.
“If you believe you can assist our enquiries, please call police on 101, quoting incident 3729 of December 17. Alternatively, you can call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111, if you wish to remain anonymous.”
