Police are searching for a van driver who failed to stop after knocking a cyclist off her bike near Dunkeld.
A 61-year-old woman was cycling on the A822 at the junction with B8063 around 1.35pm on August 10 when the collision unfolded.
The van involved did not stop and was seen travelling towards Dunkeld. The type of van is unknown, but it was said to be towing an open-topped, tall, white metal trailer.
The cyclist was taken to Ninewells Hospital in Dundee and released following treatment.
Officers are now appealing for anyone who witnessed the crash to come forward.
Sergeant John McDiarmid said: “We are carrying out enquiries to trace the van driver and asking for anyone who saw what happened to get in touch.
“If you saw this vehicle after the crash or know where it might be then please contact us.
“We are also asking for anyone driving in the area at the time to check any dash-cam footage to see if something has been captured that could assist our investigation.”
