An investigation into a flat explosion in Alloa that killed a man and injured three others is “ongoing”.
Graham Green was pronounced dead at the scene of the blast on Kellie Place on October 6.
On Wednesday, Police Scotland said the 50-year-old’s death was not being treated as suspicious.
But the Crown Office and Fiscal Service said its investigation is ongoing.
Three other people, a 72-year-old man, a 19-year-old man and a 49-year-old woman, were taken to Forth Valley Royal Infirmary for treatment to minor injuries following the incident.
CCTV video from a nearby restaurant caught the moment the block of flats exploded on Sunday, October 6.
The footage showed a mass of orange flames bursting from the property accompanied by a loud bang.
Gas distribution company SGN sent engineers to the scene but later confirmed the explosion was not caused by the mains.
Mr Green was inside the property at the time of the blast and his death was initially being treated as unexplained.
But 52 days later, following a multi-agency investigation and a post-mortem examination, police said that no suspicious circumstances were established.
Detectives sent a report to the Procurator Fiscal.
A spokesperson for the Crown Office and Procurator Fiscal Service: “The Procurator Fiscal has received a report on the death of a 50-year-old man in Alloa on October 6, 2024.
“An investigation into the death is ongoing, and any significant developments will be shared with the family.”
