Items of 'great sentimental value' stolen from graves at Perth cemetery

Police are appealing for information after items of “great sentimental value” were stolen from graves at a cemetery in Perth.

Several items were taken from two graves within Wellshill Cemetery on Feus Road between 6pm on July 25 and 12pm on July 26.

Constable Colliar said: “The items stolen from these two graves are of great sentimental value to the family, and I am appealing to anyone with information to come forward.

“I would ask that anyone who saw someone acting suspiciously around the area during this time please get in touch with officers.

“I’d also ask those that live in the surrounding areas with private CCTV or dash-cam footage please review this to see if it has captured something that could assist with our investigation.”
