Multiple fire crews have been called to the scene of a largescale blaze at an old nightclub and bar in Fife.
Around 14 engines remain at the scene to tackle the flames at the former Maxwell’s bar on Wellesley Road in Methil.
Crews from Scottish Fire and Rescue Service (SFRS) were called to the scene around 4.48pm on Sunday.
The road and surrounding area is currently closed with police putting diversions in place.
A spokesperson for SFRS confirmed crews remain at the scene with other emergency services.
It is unknown at this stage if any injuries have been sustained as a result of the fire.
Images shared on social media show the extent of the fire fighting operation with smoke billowing into the air around the street.
