Lifeboat crews were called out to help a sailing dinghy that had capsized off Portobello beach.
Kinghorn lifeboat received multiple reports of a small vessel in difficulty around 8pm on Saturday evening.

The dinghy was able to head back to the beach where it was met by the Fisherrow Coastguard.
Kinghorn crews were called out again around 9.40pm to a report of two people in the water at Portobello.
After relaunching, the crew received confirmation that both people were out of the water.

“If you see anyone in difficulty at the coast, call 999 and ask for the Coastguard.”
