A man has appeared in court charged with three attempted murders linked to an ongoing gang war.

Marshall O’Hara appeared at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Friday charged with three attempted murders.

The 20-year-old made no plea and was remanded custody. He is next due to make an appearance in eight days.

A 16-year-old was also charged in connection with five alleged attempted murders, however, he was released pending further enquiries.

It comes as eight arrests were made throughout the Central Belt over the past two weeks as part of an investigation into an ongoing gang war which was sparked last month.

Nicky Robertson, 38, and Steven Ramsey, 36, also appeared at Edinburgh Sheriff Court on Friday.

Both were charged with possessing a self-loading or pump-action gun.

Robertson was also charged with possessing a firearm despite having a criminal conviction. Ramsey was charged with possessing ammunition without a firearm certificate.

Neither made a plea and both were remanded in custody and will appear in court within the next eight days.

On April 22, Ryan Carlin appeared at Glasgow Sheriff Court charged with a number of offences including conspiracy, dangerous driving, reset of a vehicle and failing to stop a vehicle when asked to do so.

The 23-year-old made no plea and was remanded in custody. He is due to appear in court for the second time within the next eight days.

Sean Doyle also appeared in court on Tuesday charged with conspiracy and reset.

The 24-year-old made no plea and is due in court within the next eight days.

On Thursday, Paul MacAuley faced four charges at Edinburgh Sheriff Court including reset, theft and culpable and reckless conduct.

No plea was made by the 38-year-old, who is due to make a second appearance within the next eight days.

A 16-year-old boy also appeared in court facing reset, two counts of possessing a weapon in a public place, behaving in a threatening or abusive manner and three road traffic offences.

The teen made no plea and was granted bail. His next court appearance is to be confirmed.

Police Scotland has made total of 20 arrests in connection with the criminal feud.
