A man has appeared in court facing five charges linked to an ongoing criminal feud.
Fateen Ahmed was arrested in connection with damage caused to properties in the Campion Road and Cumnor Crescent area of Edinburgh on Saturday.
He was also arrested in connection with the theft of a vehicle last month.
The incidents are believed to be linked to a gang war which has spread throughout Scotland’s two largest cities.
The 22-year-old appeared in Edinburgh Sheriff Court charged with possessing stolen goods, behaving in a threatening and abusive behaviour, malicious mischief, culpable and reckless conduct and possessing an offensive weapon.
Ahmed made no plea and was granted bail. His next appearance has not been confirmed.
