Adobe StockA man has been arrested after a woman was attacked and robbed on a street in Fife on Monday.
Emergency services were called to Dunfermline’s Gilfillan Road at around 10.05am following reports of woman being assaulted.
Officers arrested a 25-year-old man in connection with the incident.
An investigation into the attack is ongoing
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 10.05am on Monday, August 25, 2025, we received a report that a woman had been robbed and assaulted at Gilfillan Road in Dunfermline.
“A 25-year-old man has been arrested and enquiries are ongoing.”
