Police are investigating after a man’s body was found on a street in Fife on Tuesday evening.
Officers were called to Alexander Road in Glenrothes shortly after 9pm and found the body of the 29-year-old.
The street was closed for several hours as police and paramedics launched an investigation.
The man’s death is being treated as unexplained.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Police Scotland was made aware of the sudden death of a 29-year-old man on Alexander Road in Glenrothes around 9.15pm on Tuesday, 19 May.
“The death is being treated as unexplained pending the outcome of a post mortem examination, although there are no apparent suspicious circumstances.
“A report will be submitted to the procurator fiscal in due course.”
